You have to love the way Ozzie Newsome approaches the draft, always looking for great value.
They saw a player who many felt was a top-15 pick, certainly top 20, and at 23 there was no way Newsome could pass up Michael Oher, who just called himself "the best tackle in the draft."
That said, Oher could be a right tackle mentored by Willie Anderson, or he could spend a year at guard. Hey, Jonathan Ogden was a left guard for a year and he's a future Hall of Famer. I don't think Oher is in Ogden's class of talent, but the kid has a great system in which to develop.
Nice pick and maybe the perfect landing spot for a kid who might need to grow up, but he's a talent for sure.
