I give the Browns credit for taking a smart deal when they see one. I was on Erie radio yesterday, and I think my exact words were: "I have no idea what they are doing ... I'll tell you Saturday night."

Now I have a better idea, and it's not too bad from first swallow.

Jets QB Mark SanchezBut how about this for (potential) irony: Eric Mangini deals with his old team and potentially allows the Jets to get their franchise QB in Mark Sanchez. That said, quarterback was not the way they were heading at five, so you can't blame them too much.

The Browns get the 17th and 57th picks, plus DE Kenyon Coleman, QB Brett Ratliff and S Abram Elam -- three of Mangini's players in New York.

Oh, and how do you think Daniel Snyder feels right now? He threw a hissy-fit when the Redskins couldn't land Jay Cutler a month ago, and unless all our information was false about his love for Sanchez, Snyder just lost out on his consolation prize.

Welcome back, Jason Cambell! We love you!
