A little more than three hours than now, another Combine will be underway. And the PFW crew is getting ready to cover it like a blanket. It should be interesting. Although you couldn't necessarily tell by the activity on the streets of downtown Indianapolis last night, attendance is expected to be greater than ever. That's why we're planning on getting to the Convention Center as soon as the doors open, so we can track down a work area and claim a space that we will be taking up the next four days.

The focus on the first day is offensive linemen, and this year's crop is supposed to be bountiful, with as many as five to six first-rounders expected to possibly come from this position, But there will also be plenty of coaches and front-office execs. I know Lovie Smith of the Bears is on tap in the late morning. Last year at this time, he was one of the hot stories, as the Bears were dragging their feet in getting him a new contract after he led the team to the Super Bowl. What a difference a year makes. I'll be back later today. We're off and running!!!
