Seahawks re-sign veteran long-snapper Robinson

The Seahawks re-signed Jeff Robinson on Wednesday to serve as their long-snapper in 2008.
The 38-year-old veteran was signed by the team last December to replace Boone Stutz for the remaining three regular-season games and both playoff games.
However, Seattle let Robinson go following the season and spent its sixth-round pick this past April on San Diego State LS Tyler Schmitt in hopes that he could take over the long-snapping duties. Schmitt was on his way to doing so before suffering a back injury this preseason that forced the Seahawks to place him on injured reserve.
