The Seahawks announced a number of changes in their personnel department, headed by the hiring of Matt Berry as their Southwest area scout. Berry comes to Seattle after working for the Falcons the last five seasons. For the last three years, he served as Atlanta’s South Central region scout.

The team also announced that Ed Dodds is moving from pro personnel assistant to Midwest area scout, with Eric Stokes, the team’s previous Midwest area scout, now becoming the West Coast scout. Stokes takes over for Mike Phair, who will be added to the coaching staff as an assistant to LB coach Zerick Rollins.

Replacing Dodds as pro personnel assistant is Jason Barnes.
