Buccaneers release DB Wilson

The Buccaneers have released DB Eugene Wilson.
Wilson signed a one-year deal with the Bucs in March. It was reportedly worth $1.8 million with $500,000 guaranteed. It was expected that Wilson would compete with Phillip Buchanon for a starting CB spot opposite Ronde Barber.
But Wilson became expendable after Buchanon won the job and first-round rookie Aqib Talib proved to be a capable backup.
