Garcia could miss preseason opener

Bucs QB Jeff Garcia is unlikely to play in the team's preseason opener against the Dolphins on Saturday, according to reports.
Garcia has missed five straight days of practice with a calf strain and likely is to be replaced in the starting lineup by Luke McCown. Garcia and the team have insisted that the injury is not serious.
However, there still could be a deal to bring Brett Favre to Tampa Bay, which would knock Garcia out of the starting lineup and perhaps out of town. An NFL Network report indicated the Bucs and Packers still were discussing a Favre trade as recently as Monday.
