Bucs QB Jeff Garcia injured his right leg during drills Thursday morning and was carted off the practice field in a golf cart, according to reports. He limped to the locker room where he was receiving attention from Tampa’s training staff.
The injury occurred during a non-contact passing drill, but the extent of it is still not known.
Garcia, 38, missed time late last season with a lower back injury. He reported to camp on Monday and declared himself the Bucs’ starter, despite widespread reports that the team is pursuing a trade for Brett Favre.
