Garcia: “I know I'm the starting quarterback”

Bucs QB Jeff Garcia reported to camp Monday after missing the first two days to attend a function honoring his father’s junior-college football team’s championship in California.
As the Brett Favre trade rumors continue to swirl, Garcia said he’s clear on what his role is on the team.
“I know I’m the starting quarterback here,” he said, according to reports.
The Packers have given Favre permission to discuss a trade with the Jets and Bucs, but there may be other teams in the running for his services as well.
Garcia took snaps with the first-team offense as the Bucs practiced in full pads for the first time on Monday.
