Report: Bucs QB Simms will report to camp

Disgruntled Bucs QB Chris Simms plans on reporting to training camp Friday, according to the Tampa Tribune.
Simms, who asked to be released or traded earlier this offseason and skipped all OTAs and minicamps, could still be dealt or cut before Friday. The Bears and Cowboys have been mentioned as teams with interest in Simms. However, The Tribune reports that it's growing more likely that Simms, who has not played in a game since 2006, will remain with Tampa for a few weeks so that head coach Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen can evaluate him and then come to a decision on what to do next.
