The Saints have hired Brian Adams as assistant director of college scouting, the team announced in a press release Monday.

“We’ve restructured our college scouting department and Brian is an experienced, smart talent evaluator who we targeted as someone who can help find the right players who will make our team better,” GM Mickey Loomis said in the statement.

Adams is entering his 22nd season in the NFL. He served as a college scout for the Panthers for the last seven years and began his career in 1982 with the Browns in a coaching administrative role.
