Report: Lucas could miss 2-3 weeks

Panthers CB Ken Lucas could miss 2-3 weeks while his broken nose, suffered when WR Steve Smith punched him during a training camp practice Friday, heals, according to The Herald of Rock Hill, S.C.
The report states that Lucas said he’s forgiven Smith, who returned to practice Monday morning after receiving a suspension for the first two regular-season games over the weekend.
“I feel like this is a blessing in disguise,” Lucas told The Herald. “This can bring this team closer together.”
