Falcons lose CB Hutchins for the year

Falcons CB Von Hutchins, signed this offseason to compete for a starting spot in the secondary, will miss the entire year after undergoing surgery Monday to repair a Lisfranc fracture in his foot, the team confirmed.
Hutchins is expected to be placed on injured reserve and miss the next four to six months.
The fifth-year veteran suffered the Lisfranc injury when his foot was stepped on during practice Saturday, which was the first day of camp.
