Falcons sign rookie LB James

The Falcons signed fifth-round pick LB Robert James to a four-year contract on Tuesday, the team announced in a statement. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
James, an Arizona State product, had 174 tackles with five interceptions and 5½ sacks in his four-year college career. He will be a backup and a special-teams contributor this season in Atlanta.
Nine of the Falcons’ 11 draft choices have signed before training camp. Only OT Sam Baker and LB Curtis Lofton remain unsigned.
