Childress to make game-time decision on RB Peterson

Sept. 19, 2008
Vikings RB Adrian Peterson returned to practice Friday, but was limited by a hamstring injury, which he suffered in Week Two against the Colts.
Peterson, the league’s leading rusher, remains questionable for Sunday’s game against Carolina. Head coach Brad Childress said he will probably make a “game-time” decision on whether or not to play him.
If Peterson is unable to go, Chester Taylor, who rushed for 1,216 yards as Minnesota’s starter in 2006, will take his place.
