Published reports Tuesday afternoon indicate that former Packers GM Ron Wolf, who was responsible for trading for QB Brett Favre in 1992, is moving back to Green Bay. Wolf currently resides with his wife in Annapolis, Md., where the couple has lived since Wolf retired from the Packers in 2001.

According to a report on the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Web site, Wolf and his wife, Edie, intend to move back to Green Bay after they sell their house in Maryland.

There was no indication that Wolf would play a role with the team that he once ran, although Wolf did say that he intends to visit the Packers' training camp as a guest of current GM Ted Thompson, which is something he has done in recent seasons.

Wolf's son, Eliot, currently serves as the Packers' assistant director of pro personnel.
