Redskins trade for Taylor, who will replace injured DE Daniels

On the same day that starting DE Phillip Daniels was lost for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, the Redskins completed a trade for ex-Dolphins DE Jason Taylor.
The Redskins will reportedly send a second-round draft pick in 2009 and a sixth-rounder in 2010 to the Dolphins in exchange for Taylor, who has had a rocky relationship with the new regime in Miami, which is headed by Bill Parcells.
It is believed that Taylor will start at the DLE position in Washington after playing on the right side with the Dolphins. Andre Carter is expected to remain the Skins' starting right end.
In addition to losing Daniels on Sunday, which was Washington's first day of training camp, the Redskins will also be without the services of reserve DE Alex Buzbee, who suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon on Sunday, ending his season.
