Redskins' Kelly to miss two weeks following knee scope

Redskins rookie WR Malcolm Kelly had arthroscopic surgery performed on his left knee on Monday and should miss about two weeks of action.
He was in Pensacola, Fla. to have the procedure done at the Andrews Institute after missing the team’s Hall of Fame game Sunday against the Colts.
Kelly was the Redskins’ third second-round pick this spring, and the second receiver along with Devin Thomas. Both have been sidelined with injuries for most of training camp.
Head coach Jim Zorn said the team thought it was best to have Kelly undergo the procedure now so he wouldn’t miss any regular-season time.
Kelly had suffered a hamstring injury on July 25 and complained of knee pain up until his surgery.
