Clemons leaves Eagles camp with dehydration; Abiamiri might miss significant time

Eagles DE Chris Clemons was taken to the hospital as a precaution after suffering from dehydration during the early Tuesday morning practice session.
Clemons left the field, and though he appeared to be alert, he was taken for observations and treatment.
He was signed in the offseason to be a major contributor, especially in passing situations, in a four-man rotation at defensive end.
At least that was the plan coordinator Jim Johnson had hoped for. Second-year DE Victor Abiamiri, who was expected to get significant snaps this seasons, especially on first and second downs, suffered a potentially serious wrist injury.
It was reported that Abiamiri suffered a dislocated bone in his left wrist, but the more serious byproduct of the injury could be damage to his ligaments, which most likely would require surgery to repair,
That could cost Abiamiri as much as two months’ time recovering or more, and it could be difficult to justify keeping a roster spot for a part-time, albeit potentially significant, player.
