The first four draft classes here were under Bill Parcells’ watch, helping build the nucleus of the NFC’s No. 1 seed this season. All told, Parcells picked four Pro Bowl players plus some solid starters — all of them in Rounds One through Four. He also unearthed some late-round gems in WR Patrick Crayton and DT Jay Ratliff, both of whom broke out this season, and saw something in undrafted QB Tony Romo long ago. There were some missteps, especially with some OL prospects and with the bulk of the 2006 class. But it’s hard to argue with too much beyond that.
