Word out of the Raiders’ rookie minicamp is RB Darren McFadden lined up in the backfield, split out wide as a receiver and even took a few shotgun snaps as a quarterback during non-contact drills this past weekend. So much for easing him into things. For as loud and brash as Warren Sapp was at times during a standout 13-year career that included seven Pro Bowl selections, he stepped into retirement rather quietly late last week. Rumored to be contemplating retirement for several weeks, Sapp, 35, stepped away from the game by way of a phone call to Raiders owner Al Davis.
