The Chiefs announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms on a one-year contract with free-agent PK Jay Feely.
Feely was already in Kansas City for Monday's practice. He was released by the Dolphins earlier this month amid speculation that the team's new regime did not like his outspoken attitude.
Feely, who made 21-of-23 field goals for Miami in 2007, is expected to immediately take over placekicking duties for the Chiefs. Journeyman Nick Novak and undrafted rookie Connor Barth had been competing for the job.
