The Titans signed rookie DE William Hayes to a multi-year deal, the club announced Monday.

Hayes, one of the Titans' three fourth-round picks, will compete for playing time at left defensive end with Jevon Kearse as the club tries to replace the productive tandem of Antwan Odom and Travis LaBoy, both of whom departed in free agency.

Hayes notched 15 sacks in 30 career games at Winston-Salem State. As a senior, he led Division II with seven forced fumbles.

Tennessee has signed four of its seven draft picks. The Titans open camp on Thursday.
