Jack Del Rio’s last five draft classes are mostly bereft of elite talent but are rife with solid contributors. With the exception of 2005, each class has featured at least one player who has played a significant role in lifting the Jags up the NFL hierarchy. For the most part, their second-rounders have outplayed their first-rounders — Maurice Jones-Drew and Rashean Mathis were steals.
* — See Three- and five-year draft history for criteria in determining this number.
