Report: Baxter has knee surgery

Browns S Gary Baxter underwent arthroscopic knee surgery this morning, The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Tuesday.
Baxter has not played in an NFL game since tearing the patellar tendon in both knees on Oct. 22, 2006 vs. Denver. Baxter has played much of his career at cornerback but was moved to safety after the injuries.
Baxter, 29, has 54 starts and eight interceptions in seven professional seasons.
