Report: Johnson to report to Bengals camp

Chad Johnson will report to Bengals training camp this weekend, The Associated Press reported Monday.
Johnson told the AP that he would be limited somewhat as he recovers from surgery on his right ankle. Johnson had the surgery in June.
Whether Johnson would show up for training camp was one of the dominant offseason story lines surrounding the Bengals. Johnson tried to force his way out of Cincinnati for much of the spring, but the Bengals refused to trade him. He eventually relented.
Johnson, 30, caught 93 passes for 1,440 yards and eight touchdowns last season.
The Bengals' first practice is Monday, July 28.
