The Bengals signed TE Matt Sherry, a sixth-round pick from Villanova, and DE Angelo Craig, a seventh-round pick from Cincinnati, to four-year contracts on Thursday.

Both players will compete for reserve roles.

In Pro Football Weekly's 2008 Draft Preview, draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki described Sherry as "raw" but having "enough speed and athleticism to warrant a chance." Nawrocki praised Craig's pass-rush ability but also noted that he was "thinly built and lacks bulk to anchor vs. the run."

The Bengals have seven unsigned draft picks.
