Bills juggling OL personnel in response to OT conundrum

Push has come to shove for the Bills’ players paid to push and shove. With just three offensive tackles available for Thursday’s matchup against the Steelers in Toronto, OG Brad Butler has been told he’ll join the fray on the outside, though not necessarily in place of his guard responsibilities. Butler joins Langston Walker, Kirk Chambers and rookie Demetrius Bell in the rotation.
A combination of injuries and a holdout has contributed to the club’s dearth of offensive tackles. Reserves Patrick Estes (knee) and Matt Murphy (shoulder) are out with ailments, while All-Pro Jason Peters has held out for all three weeks of training camp in search of a pay raise. Estes’ injury isn’t believed to be serious, and there’s been no prognosis given for Murphy.
Butler has experience playing on the outside, having started 31 games at right tackle as a collegian at Virginia.
