Consensus selection for Super Bowl XLII
Jan. 28, 2008
The PFW consensus went 1-1 on the conference championships, correctly picking that the Chargers would cover against the Patriots but completely missing the boat on the Giants' upset of the Packers. As a result, the consensus goes into the final game of the season with a 134-124-8 record. In the past 10 weeks, the consensus is 72-48-2 picking games against the spread, a .598 winning percentage. In its straight-up selections, the PFW consensus went 1-1, improving its season record to 180-86, a .677 percentage.
