Honestly, there's not a single game I feel great about this week with these numbers, so I have to go with the "chalk." As impressive as the Patriots are at 8-0 and statistically on defense, they've played an outrageously easy schedule and struggled to beat the one winning team they've faced, the Bills in Buffalo. That said, they're the Pats, and the Ravens also have just one winner's scalp on their belts, albeit a more impressive victory at Seattle last Sunday. Baltimore has struggled at home, barely getting by Arizona and Cincinnati and getting pounded by the Browns, so I have to jump on New England here.

AA: MIN

Matt Moore was solid last week, unlike the Chiefs sieve run 'D,' and that's where my lack of confidence is rooted here in picking Minnesota's mashing rush attack to again do much of the heavy lifting in handing Andy Reid's Chiefs an almost unfathomable fourth consecutive defeat at Arrowhead. Also problematic for the home team is that its own run game hasn't done any real damage in a month now, and vs. the Vikings' vaunted pass rush, that has to be a concern because expecting Moore to play so well in a second consecutive outing feels like a big ask. If Mahomes plays, well, forget most everything I just wrote but I still fairly confident picking the more complete Vikings in a coin-flip game.
