Of our top 15 quarterbacks in Week 3 of fantasy, only two — Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers — are older than 30.

Sure, removing Drew Brees and Cam Newton and Big Ben, albeit Roethlisberger unlikely to have earned a start-worthy rank this week here regardless, hammers home this fact. But with guys like Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes atop this list and taking the league by storm in their second and third seasons, and with rookie No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray sitting at No. 4 in the NFL in passing yardage through two starts (and No. 7 in this week's rankings in a prime breakout spot), the youth movement was already well underway.

Long gone are the days of sitting the youngsters. Heck, the tanking Miami Dolphins even announced it's Josh Rosen time Thursday, two days after the Giants finally pulled the plug on Eli Manning in favor of top pick Daniel Jones. Why won't you won't find either ranked prominently here, the same going for any of the three kids stepping in for the stalwarts listed above?

The common denominator among our rookie (Murray) and second-year quarterback (Josh Allen) appearing in the top 12 for the first time this season is that they can both scoot. Murray has yet to truly lean on his scintillating speed for explosive gains on the ground, but Allen has a rushing touchdown in each of his first two games. They also both find themselves in ripe matchups Sunday — Murray visiting a Newton-less 0-2 Panthers club; Allen hosting the awful Bengals — that could help them keep moving up this list before long.
