Fret not, Buffalo Bills fans. Your team is adding one behemoth, Star Lotulelei, but not at the expense of re-signing another and its longest-tenured player, DT Kyle Williams.
Williams is signing a one-year deal to return to Buffalo for a 13th season, his agent confirmed on Twitter Tuesday.
Williams, the five-time Pro Bowler who's spent his entire career with the Bills, turns 35 this summer but has missed just 12 combined games since 2012 and 23 over his entire career.
If Lotulelei serves as the replacement for traded Marcell Dareus, Williams can continue in his role as an an underrated disruptor with at least five sacks in four of his past six seasons.
Buffalo needs help not only rushing the passer but stopping the run after ranking 31st in sack percentage and 25th in yards per carry surrendered. Williams will be expected to help in a part-time role and continue leading Sean McDermott's defense.
