The worst-kept secret during free agency, that the Dolphins were hot on the trail of WR Mike Wallace, came to fruition at the open of free agency.

Wallace will sign a five-year deal worth $65 million, with a reported $30 million guaranteed.

In four years with the Steelers, Wallace played in every game but one. He has 234 catches for 4,042 yards (17.2-yard average) and 32 touchdown catches.

The deep threat was one of the top free agents on the market and becomes the Dolphins’ No. 1 receiver for QB Ryan Tannehill, joining recently re-signed WR Brian Hartline and slot WR Davone Bess.
