Lions re-sign LB Levy

The Lions re-signed LB DeAndre Levy to a multi-year contract on Wednesday, the team’s website confirmed.

Levy played in 14 games with 13 starts last season and had 82 tackles, nine tackles for loss, three passes defensed and one interception. In 2011, Levy led the Lions with nine tackles for loss and was second on the team with 107 tackles overall. 

In four seasons with the Lions since joining the league as a third-round pick in 2009, Levy has played in 57 games with 50 starts, totaling 348 tackles, one sack, 13 passes defensed and five interceptions.
