The Steelers brought back CB William Gay on Monday, the team announced.
Gay played for Pittsburgh from 2007-11 before signing with the Cardinals last offseason. In 2012, he played in every game with 15 starts and had 57 tackles, six passes defensed and two interceptions.
The Cardinals released Gay last week. The 28-year-old corner has not missed a game since entering the league in 2007. During his five seasons with the Steelers, he had three interceptions.
Gay forced three fumbles last year.
