The Patriots signed former CFL D-lineman Jason Vega, the team announced on Tuesday.

Vega, 25, played his college ball at Northeastern. For the past two seasons, he played for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and recorded 66 tackles and 12 sacks.

“I think I will probably have my hand in the ground most of the time, and I’ll be moving in to three-technique in different situations,” Vega told ESPN Boston about how he will fit in with the Patriots.
