The Steelers placed WR Mike Wallace, ORT Mike Adams and CB Curtis Brown on injured reserve on Saturday. All three players had already been ruled out for Sunday's game vs. Cleveland.
Wallace, who's slated to be an unrestricted free agent, caught 64 passes for 836 yards and eight TDs in 15 games (14 starts) for Pittsburgh in 2012. The 26-year-old Wallace will be missing his first-ever regular-season game. He has a hip injury.
Adams played 10 games, starting six. He has not played since Nov. 25 because of an ankle injury. An ankle ailment will also sideline Brown, who has recorded a team-high 17 special-teams tackles.
The Steelers promoted WR David Gilreath and NT Alameda Ta'amu from the practice squad and claimed DT Hebron Fangupo on waivers from the Seahawks to fill the open roster spots.
