Raiders head coach Dennis Allen announced Friday that Terrelle Pryor will start at quarterback in Oakland’s season finale.
Pryor, a second-year pro who was a supplemental pick in 2011, will start in place of Carson Palmer, who injured his ribs and lung in last week’s loss to Carolina.
Pryor completed his first pass of the season last week, for five yards. He has attempted two passes in the NFL. Pryor spent the week splitting snaps with Matt Leinart, who will be his backup in Sunday’s game vs. San Diego.
