The Bears announced late Friday that they have elevated RB Harvey Unga to the active roster from the practice squad and waived DE Cheta Ozougwu.
The 6-0, 237-pound Unga spent Weeks 1-4 and Weeks 13-16 of the 2012 season on the Bears' practice squad and has spent the past three preseasons with Chicago but has not appeared in a regular-season contest.
Ozougwu appeared in two contests for the Bears this season, recording two tackles.
