Jets QB Greg McElroy is being evaluated for a concussion and will not play in the season finale. Mark Sanchez will start against the Bills.

Rex Ryan announced on Thursday morning that McElroy had headaches in the morning while lifting weights.

Ryan added that Tim Tebow is “not happy” about the decision to start Sanchez.

McElroy started in last week’s loss to the Chargers after Sanchez, who has 17 interceptions and seven lost fumbles this year, was benched. McElroy was sacked 11 times on Sunday.

Sanchez did complete 19-of-27 passes for 266 yards, three touchdowns and one interception vs. the Bills in Week One.
