The Cardinals will trot out their fourth starting quarterback of the season in Week 17.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt announced Wednesday that Brian Hoyer will start in the regular-season finale against the 49ers.

Hoyer replaced rookie Ryan Lindley last week and completed 11-of-19 passes for 105 yards and one interception in a loss to the Bears. He spent time with the Steelers earlier in the season and was the Patriots’ backup quarterback the previous three years.

Hoyer joins Lindley, Kevin Kolb and John Skelton as Arizona’s starting quarterbacks this season.
