The Bears signed S Troy Nolan, the team announced Wednesday. Chicago had an open roster spot after waiving WR Dane Sanzenbacher.
Nolan, a fourth-year pro, has played in seven games this season — four for the Texans and three for the Dolphins. He started one game for Houston and has nine tackles this year.
Nolan spent the past two seasons with the Texans playing in 30 games with six starts. He has 93 career tackles, nine passes defensed and three interceptions.
The Bears lost S Chris Conte to an injury in Sunday’s win over Arizona.
