Which of your picks do you feel strongest about and why?

Hub Arkush: The Texans were the best team in the AFC for most of the season but now look like a playoff one-and-done unless they can get things turned around here.

Keith Schleiden: San Diego emerged from Week One with an eight-point win over the Raiders. Philip Rivers, playing better of late, will ensure he sends Norv Turner out with a victory.

Mike Holbrook: The Chargers’ defense has been coming on strong and the team will play hard to send Norv Turner out on a high note. The Raiders won’t be able to keep up in this one.

Dan Arkush: I see the Rams going all out with an above-.500 record in their sights. Jeff Fisher’s scrappy team has performed consistently well in divisional games.

Eric Edholm: The Chargers are great at winning games that don’t matter. Matt Leinart possibly being the Raiders’ quarterback clinches this happening again.

Mike Wilkening: The Texans are the play at this price. They are a better team than the Colts, who are locked into the No. 5 seed in the AFC. Houston should be able to bounce back.

Dan Parr: The 49ers always bounce back from losses, and they will return to dominant form against the Cardinals, who will struggle to put points on the board.

Kevin Fishbain: The Saints and Panthers are both playing well, but New Orleans has too much on offense for Cam Newton to keep up in this matchup of disappointing teams.

Arthur Arkush: The Texans aren’t playing very good football right now and they have never beaten the Colts in Indy. Yet, with the No. 1 seed in the AFC on the line, they find a way.
