Eagles QB Nick Foles broke his hand in Sunday’s loss to the Redskins, head coach Andy Reid announced Monday. Foles will not play in the team’s season finale against the Giants.

Reid said he is leaning toward having Michael Vick start in Week 17. “He obviously deserves the opportunity to play,” Reid told reporters.

Foles, a rookie, took over as the starter when Vick suffered a concussion. In his seven games and six starts, Foles has completed 60.8 percent of his passes and thrown six TD passes and five interceptions.
