The Bears announced a one-year contract extension for LS Patrick Mannelly on Monday.
Mannelly has played in all 15 games this season. He has appeared in 230 career games since entering the league with the Bears in 1998, and did not miss a game from 2003-10.
“I’m extremely pleased we were able to reach a one-year extension with Patrick Mannelly,” Bears GM Phil Emery said. “He epitomizes what we’re looking for in a Chicago Bear: excellence in performance and great leadership.”
Mannelly set a franchise record this season by being the first Bear to play in 15 seasons with the team. His 230 games played are also a club record.
