The Eagles placed DT Mike Patterson on the reserve/non-football injury list and promoted FB-TE Emil Igwenagu from the practice squad.

Last week, Patterson was hospitalized with viral pneumonia. According to Pro Football Talk, the Eagles plan to partially cut Patterson's pay. The eighth-year veteran played in five games this season and made six tackles. He started 15 games last year and had 35 tackles and 2½ sacks.

Igwenagu is a rookie out of Massachusetts.
