The Cardinals placed QB Kevin Kolb on injured reserve and signed OL Mike Gibson.
Kolb has not played since suffering rib injuries in Week Six. In his six games and five starts, Kolb completed 59.6 percent of his passes and threw eight touchdown passes and three interceptions.
The Cardinals had a 3-2 record in Kolb’s starts in 2012. They have not won a game since Sept. 30 and recently claimed QB Brian Hoyer off waivers.
Gibson is a fourth-year pro who played in three games for Seattle last season. He played in 14 games with eight starts for the Seahawks in 2010 and was most recently with the Eagles.
