The Bears placed PK Robbie Gould (calf), CB Sherrick McManis (knee) and S Craig Steltz (chest) on injured reserve.
Chicago signed veteran PK Olindo Mare, promoted WR Joe Anderson from the practice squad and signed LB Jerry Franklin off the Cowboys’ practice squad.
Gould, who has made 21-of-25 field goals this season, injured his calf prior to Sunday’s game against the Vikings. He has not missed a game since 2005. His replacement, Mare, played in all 16 games for the Panthers last season, making 22-of-28 field-goal attempts. The 39-year-old has converted 81.2 percent of field goals in his career.
McManis and Steltz were key special-teams contributors for the Bears, each totaling four special-teams tackles this season. Steltz has a forced fumble, and McManis has a fumble recovery and a blocked punt.
The Bears also waived OL Andre Gurode.
