Which of your picks do you feel strongest about and why?

Hub Arkush: If the Texans were healthy on defense I might feel differently, but with their injuries, I expect the Pats to teach them a lesson about the bright lights.

Keith Schleiden: The Colts won by six in overtime in the first meeting of the year. At 8-4, Indy is no fluke. They keep it close, but it says here they’re better by more than five this week.

Mike Holbrook: The Chargers are at a huge disadvantage going against the Steelers’ defense without both starting offensive tackles. More Philip Rivers turnovers, anyone?

Dan Arkush: The Niners have yet to lose two in a row under Jim Harbaugh and figure to be very fied up against a Miami team that has lost Pro Bowl OLT Jake Long.

Eric Edholm: The Cowboys can’t contain the Eagles’ passing game? Well, then, how do they plan to stop the Bengals? Plus, that defensive line could give the Cowboys fits.

Mike Wilkening: I’ll take the Patriots. The Texans’ shaky secondary and the Pats’ knack for finishing strongly make New England the play at this relatively short price.

Dan Parr: The Broncos are rolling, and the Raiders are getting rolled week after week. I don’t think Peyton Manning will have much trouble picking apart that defense.

Kevin Fishbain: It’s a big number, but the 49ers match up favorably against the Dolphins and can’t be happy after a loss to the Rams. S.F. has the potential to blow out Miami.

Arthur Arkush: Who is going to cover Wes Welker in the slot? I don’t like this matchup given Houston’s sudden rash of injuries at corner. Houston finally suffers a letdown.
