A misdemeanor marijuana charge against Lions DT Nick Fairley was dismissed on Tuesday.

According to the team’s website, an Alabama judge found sufficient evidence to drop the charges.

Fairley was arrested in April when an officer detected the smell of marijuana in his car and found a small amount in Fairley’s ashtray. The second-year pro has passed every NFL-issued drug test administered to him.

Fairley is still due in court for a DUI charge in May. He has 30 tackles and 4½ sacks this season.
